LTC offers a professional proofreading and editing service (as well as copywriting) of the highest quality using proofreaders who are native British speakers and who are also educated up to Doctorate level at UK universities. They have at least 12 years’ experience in professional editing.

We provide a secure and confidential service where only authorised staff will have access to your document. Once the work is complete, documents will be deleted within 14 days or at a date agreed with yourselves.

Our service consists of the following:

  • Correcting all spelling mistakes using US or British English, depending on your requirements.
  • Correcting punctuation and ensuring all punctuation is used appropriately and inserted where necessary.
  • Correcting all grammatical errors.
  • Correcting formatting errors by reviewing fonts and styles used as well as page numbers, index and contents table.
  • Reviewing page layouts to ensure margins, page breaks, columns, headers, footers, orientation and page numbering are in accordance with your requirements.
  • Highlighting all edits by using ‘Track Changes’ so that all alterations are indicated in colour, allowing you to review the edits easily.
  • Providing feedback with the corrections.
