Accreditation

LTC provides an accreditation service using the standards of practice set by IBCT, who are the International Board of Certified Trainers.

The accreditation process begins with an informal consultation to assess the training material as well as the structure of the training, and how it is to be delivered.

The next step is to submit training courses directly to our accreditation team to start the accreditation process. The training course materials required for review typically include delegate workbook, presentation slides, handouts and any additional training course notes.

Our team evaluates the material, reviews the structure and provides advice to help develop the training courses where required. This process is to ensure the training courses are educational in content, structured coherently, with clear learning objectives and outcomes.

Certifying training material assures its quality according to the following points:

  • The appropriate balance between the theory and application.
  • Adequacy of training activities.
  • Suitability of the selected training methods.
  • Covering the training objectives.
  • Efficient use of multimedia.
  • Applying the adult learning principals.
  • Selecting the most appropriate evaluation methods.
  • Appearance and printing quality.
  • Stabilising the quality of programme delivery over successive runs.

If training courses do not meet the accreditation standards, we will provide detailed feedback to help you improve the training course.

The accreditation process takes approximately 10-14 working days, depending on the size and duration of the training course.
